About Dulahan
Joe and Adele Greene met while studying Irish Traditional Music in County Donegal over 20 years ago. Since then, they have been performing and teaching Irish Music as the duo Dulahan. They have released two albums to date, with a mix of traditional tunes and their own compositions.
Joe comes from Inishowen in Donegal and Adele hails from Belfast. For the past four years, they have been living in rural Mayo.
Our Story
Over the years, we have travelled to many sessions throughout Ireland and had many great nights of music! We found that it could be very daunting, walking into a session for the first time, especially not knowing any of the other musicians. After a very short time however, our anxieties would leave us, and we'd end up having a great night of music and forming new friendships. We have encountered many new people coming to our own sessions with that same nervous trepidation and we knew what that felt like! That was our motivation for setting up our Irish Traditonal Music Holidays where we could combine our experience of teaching and performing Irish Music whilst accompanying our visitors into the world of the session.
