Our Story

Over the years, we travelled to many sessions throughout Ireland and had many great nights of music! We found that it could be very daunting to join a session for the first time, not knowing any of the other musicians. Most times, our anxieties would leave us and we'd end up having a great night of music and forming new friendships. We encountered newcomers to our own sessions who had that same nervous trepidation and we knew how that felt! That was part of our motivation for establishing the Irish Traditonal Music Holidays where we could combine our experience of teaching and performing Irish Music with encouraging our visitors to participate in the sessions.
